This rating covers the last 14 years. I was injured in Afghanistan and needed a level head to guide me through the next several years of putting my life back together. Dr. Mc Williams is a stand up Doctor and he must have had a lot of patience to take care of me. I am now 68 years old next month and after several surgeries and various medications, x-rays, c-scans, MRI's, blood draws and several I cannot remember for many reasons. The most challenging item besides the aforementioned, was dealing with my employers Workers Compensation (Cigna) care manager. Fortunately, Medicare is now taking care of most of the costs. They are worth every penny, just like Dr. Mc Williams is! One last but not least credit should be given to his wonderful staff. Brought my sick child in to see Dr Ginger on Monday November 25th, and she said to bring him back if he didn’t get better, because he was wheezing. I called two days later because he’s not getting better, and the receptionist told me he can’t be seen until December 4th. If you need care for sick kids, this is NOT the place to go.

They are very efficient and knowledgeable. They care and listen well. I am always taken very good care of.

I had a horrible experience with this clinic. The doctor was late to my appointment (typical) but then gave me attitude when my boss was trying to get ahold of me, bc I was supposed to be out of my appointment by that point. Moving on to the next issue, I paid for a family plan, but when I asked to get paperwork for my children, it never came through. Now that they’re sick, they told me they can’t see my “non established children” they’re children!!!! They’re healthy, besides this pesky virus I need to have addressed. So, I received a phone call back trying to mitigate my anger, but “the best I can do is two appointments that are not back to back.” (Bc my kids live in the same house and have the same gunk… makes sense to have us wait around, right!) Thanks, health care team that I chose for my family! Thanks for helping my family get back to healthy, and being kind about it. Your front desk gals are not kind. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a health care team.

Dr. McWilliams has been treating and referring me to several specialist doctors since I was in a accident moving over 115 to 125 mph. I was injured Afghanistan in 2011. Over these past 13 years or so, Dr. McWilliams has done a fantastic job on guiding me thought the waves of pain killers and other medications on an ageing man. He has also recommended several specialist doctors that have been as excellent as he has been. I am now 67 years old and without my wonderful wife and his studious and friendly care, I suspect that there is a chance I would not be here. His staff is very nice also, and they are also great! Ginger is great. I feel very comfortable being able to talk with her if I have any issues. Her staff is great too and they always return my calls.

This was my first time going in to see Ginger for an illness appointment. I messaged the clinic Sunday afternoon and they called Monday morning to bring me in that afternoon due to my symptoms. I usually don’t go to the doctor for cold symptoms because I trust my body and over the counter medicine to be able to fight the attacker off. This time was different as after four weeks of battle, I still wasn’t able to beat it. Ginger listened to my concerns and understood what brought me in even after 4 weeks. She was thorough and agreed I should’ve been able to fight off normal cold like symptoms by now, but after an evaluation I clearly needed assistance with antibiotics. Was absolutely pleased with my service and glad I made the decision to seek medical advice. Highly recommend Ginger and Stone Creek Family Medicine.

I made appointment for the same day and was seen immediately upon arrival. After a consultation blood work was order and taken within a few minutes. Dr. McWilliams is kind, attentive, and doesn’t try to ‘med-splain’ you. He provides his diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and prognosis in understandable and reasonable terms. The medical and administrative support staff are also quite pleasant and efficient in their dealings.

Ginger and her staff are always very concerned about the specific problem to be addressed, as well as being friendly and caring during the appointment. She always spends the time it takes to identify the problem and discuss ways to help. She makes it seem like I am her only patient even though I know she's busy.

I would recommend Ginger for anyone with routine health issues or even mysterious ones. She is caring and dedicated to finding the best health care and wellness solutions for you. Their practice is better than any big, corporate medical practice where they don’t know who you are!

Attentive and knowledgeable

Years ago my two kids and I started going to SCFM. I and my son used Dr McWilliams and my my daughter saw Ginger. My kids have since moved on to other drs as they have gotten older. I too have moved from the Montgomery area l, but still drive an hour plus to see Dr. McWilliams. Dr. McWilliams takes time to listen to your problem(s). After a few visits, he knows what to ask. And offer good solutions and to how to help you. He knows me and not only my health issues, but my story. He’s a great Dr. Additionally the others on staff as great as well. Over the yrs I’ve visited with the other Drs or PAs on staff and have received equally good care. They do have a yearly fee to see them, and it’s not covered by insurance, but I find that minimal to the level of care given. And that fee can be filed on your FSA if you use one.

Dr McWilliams is only the 2nd primary doctor I have had that is truly my advocate. He listens to my issues, certainly thinks outside of the box and is not afraid to refer me to experts in various fields of medicine. Recently I had need to schedule a quick appointment. Dr. McWilliams’ staff scheduled me for a same day appointment. Dr. McWilliams quickly assessed my symptoms and he prescribed the indicated meds which I was able to obtain that same day. Due to this super efficient response I am well on my way to a quick recovery. I and my spouse have been patients for about 4 and 1/2 years and we are fully satisfied with the care Dr.McWilliams and staff have provided.

I had severe lower back pain and was severely restricted in movement including walking. I hoped it would get better and didn’t go to the doctor until very late on the Friday before New Year’s. Dr. McWilliams saw me, reviewed all my symptoms and gave me two Rx’s to relieve the pain. They could have sent me to the ER but instead provided this personal service.
