I have been a patient at Stone Creek Family Medicine for 20 years. The office staff is always polite and attentive. The medical nurses and assistance are also very polite, attentive and take the time to ask questions to make sure all my concerns will be addressed. I actually get excited to have my appointments with Ginger. She always walks into the exam room with a huge, sincere smile on her face and is always in a great mood. Ginger never rushes our appointments and makes sure all my questions are addressed. Ginger is very thorough and she has the best “bedside” manner. When waiting in the exam room I can always hear her laughing as she engages with staff in between appointments.
Ginger has a way of making me feel at ease and happy, even if I come in feeling rotten or stressed out.
I have also had the opportunity to be attended to by Courtney and Dr. McWilliams. They are equally as impressive. Our whole family has had the pleasure to consult with the wonderful medical staff and be looked after by the staff out front as well.

Years ago my two kids and I started going to SCFM. I and my son used Dr McWilliams and my my daughter saw Ginger. My kids have since moved on to other drs as they have gotten older. I too have moved from the Montgomery area l, but still drive an hour plus to see Dr. McWilliams.
Dr. McWilliams takes time to listen to your problem(s). After a few visits, he knows what to ask. And offer good solutions and to how to help you. He knows me and not only my health issues, but my story. He’s a great Dr.
Additionally the others on staff as great as well. Over the yrs I’ve visited with the other Drs or PAs on staff and have received equally good care.
They do have a yearly fee to see them, and it’s not covered by insurance, but I find that minimal to the level of care given. And that fee can be filed on your FSA if you use one.

Dr McWilliams is only the 2nd primary doctor I have had that is truly my advocate. He listens to my issues, certainly thinks outside of the box and is not afraid to refer me to experts in various fields of medicine. In my case his actions led to the early discovery of Renal Cell Carcinoma stage 4 and gave me an actual “fighting chance” with disease. I have been going to Dr.williams for many years and have always been treated like a person and not a number. Dr. McWilliams takes his time at my appointments and answers all my question. Every nurse ans every staff member are nice and polite from the time I come in the door till the time I leave. Communications through the portal are answered and taken care of ina timely manner.

Recently I had need to schedule a quick appointment. Dr. McWilliams’ staff scheduled me for a same day appointment. Dr. McWilliams quickly assessed my symptoms and he prescribed the indicated meds which I was able to obtain that same day.
